Queens subway murder suspect changed clothes as he fled: cops

One of the suspects in the Feb. 3 subway-platform gang murder changed some of his clothes as he fled the scene, cops said.

The man, between 20 and 25 years old, ran off in a jacket and red scarf, but at some point, jettisoned the jacket and switched to a blue scarf, police said.

Late Monday, they released this surveillance photo of him taken after the change.

Police have collared alleged shooter and MS-13 gangbanger Ramiro Gutierrez, 26, for the shooting, which left Abel Mosso, 20, dead on the elevated platform of the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue station in Jackson Heights.

They are still seeking the quick-change artist and another suspect.

Officials have said that the shooting was gang-related and that Mosso was a member of the 18th Street Gang, an MS-13 rival.

The case drew President Trump’s attention last week as he renewed calls for a border wall.
