Kite festival fills skies over Long An with magnificent colours

The kite festival took place on the afternoon of February 10 and was co-organised by Long An Province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Happyland Resort. The event was held to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Pig. Here spectators can be seen alongside kite fliers as the skies begin to fill up with kites. Children gather around to see how to make their own kite. The festival this year in Long An Province attracted 300 large kites in a variety of different shapes and sizes.     On display at the festival were enthusiastic kite displays, games, along with  other outdoor activities.   The event will last until February 12.  The event also attracts fifteen clubs from across the nation.
