VNese NA leader joins Vietnam –RoK investment and trade forum
The forum was co- held by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Besides that, members of the high-level delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Korean Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Yoon Kang-huyn, President of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yoon Cheol-min and about 350 delegates and businesses from Vietnam and Korea also attended in the forum.
Speaking at the forum, Speaker of the Republic of Korea’s National Assembly Moon Hee-sang wished that both Vietnamese and Korean businesses continue to actively exchange economic issues to contribute in the prosperity of both countries as well as in Asia; and he also affirmed that National Assembly of the Republic of Korea would create the most favorable conditions for all business activities of enterprises of the two countries.
The forum will also be a good opportunity for important dialogue between the two countries, added Mr. Moon Hee-sang.
At the forum, the Korean business community was very interested and impressed with the speech of Chairwoman of Vietnamese National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on visions and directions for economic cooperation between the two countries.
At this event, Vietnamese Chairwoman of National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and Speaker of the Republic of Korea’s National Assembly Moon Hee-sang witnessed the inauguration ceremony of Vietjet Air’s air route linking between Phu Quoc (Vietnam) and Seoul (South Korea).
On the same day, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met representatives of some economic groups.
The mid-term meeting of the 8th meeting of the Vietnam – Republic of Korea Joint Committee for Cooperation in Nuclear Power, Energy, Industry and Trade took place on the same day. Minister of Industry and Trade, Tran Tuan Anh proposed that Korea should continue to support and create connection between Vietnamese and Korean enterprises in the value chain of food and agricultural product processing industries.
Vietnam asked that Korea soon considers to allow to import processing foodstuffs from pork and chickens, and Vietnamese fruits as star apple, grapefruit, rambutan, lychee…
